Choosing the ‘common good’ is sometimes no easy task. The Catholic Bishops’ Conference document, 'Choosing the Common Good', which echoes the earlier document issued in 1996, gives an excellent foundation for the key issues we all need to think about in our lives today.
In his introduction, Archbishop Vincent Nichols reminds us that ‘In this document we seek to present some of the key themes of Catholic Social Teaching, not least in the light of some of its recent developments and of the changed conditions in contemporary Britain’.
