A series of webinars is being run in 2026/2027 on premises related issues; one each half-term.

This webinar focuses on Diocese Property Protocols.

This course provides school leaders and governors with a clear understanding of their responsibilities for managing school buildings within a diocesan context, combining statutory compliance with the specific requirements of diocesan governance. It explains the legal framework for health and safety (including asbestos, fire, and CDM), clarifies the role of the governing body as duty holder, and sets out the systems needed to manage compliance effectively. Alongside this, it covers the key provisions of the Occupation of School Premises document, including ownership, delegation, capital approvals, and restrictions on third-party use . The course focuses on practical implementation, helping schools establish robust processes, maintain compliance, and provide assurance to both governors and the Diocese.
