On 7 March at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, Wanstead the 2026 Caritas Brentwood Networking Day will take place, and all parishes are encouraged to send representatives. This Networking Day is designed to bring together parishioners, clergy, school staff, catechists and those actively engaged in social justice, offering space to connect, share good practice and learn from one another across the Diocese.
So far 15 organisations have already been confirmed their attendance, with further confirmations received over the past weekend.
Jenny Sinclair, Founder and Director of Together for the Common Good, will be the keynote speaker. Jenny’s work focuses on helping Christians navigate the challenges of our time and discern their calling to the common good in their local communities.
The afternoon will also include dedicated time to reflect on the Caritas’ areas of focus (homelessness, refugees, and the environment) and to consider how we might collectively respond to the needs in these areas during 2026.
The event will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall, Cambridge Park, Wanstead E11 2PR on 7 March, from 1pm-5pm.
Please promote it within your parish over the coming weeks. (See poster here: 2026 Networking Day Charities) Your encouragement can make a real difference in raising awareness and ensuring strong parish representation from across Essex and East London on the day.
Registration and attendance are free and can be completed online at: https://DOB-NETWORK.eventbrite.co.uk
