
A series of four Lenten Lectures will take place at Brentwood Cathedral Parish Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday evenings during February and March. The first will take place on Wednesday 25 February.
The theme this year is: “What does it truly mean to be Catholic?” All are welcome.
Talk 1. Wednesday 25 February: Abbot Hugh Allan, O Praem, Superior of the Norbertines in Peckham. “I Believe…” Living and proclaiming the Catholic Faith, 7.30pm
Talk 2. Wednesday 4 March, 7.30pm: Rev Msgr Kevin W Hale, Vicar General of Brentwood Diocese. Being Catholic and the call to holiness as seen in the lives of some recently canonised saints.
Talk 3. Wednesday 11 March, 7.30pm: Mr Mauro Iannicelli, who works in parish evangelisation & formation. Prayer as the Foundation of our Catholic Life.
Talk 4. Wednesday 18 March, 7.30pm. Rev Msgr John Armitage, inspirational speaker and retreat giver. The uniqueness of Catholicism for British society.
