All are warmly welcome to attend this ecumenical event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Eco Church at Chelmsford Cathedral. It will feature an evensong with a Creation theme, stalls and refreshments and a panel discussion, led by Bishop Guli.
Eco Church is a learning community of churches of all shapes and sizes open to all denomination. It was initiated by A Rocha UK , a Christian charity working to protect and restore the natural world and committed to equipping Christians and churches in the UK to care for the environment. It provides a framework to support churches to take practical action on caring for God’s earth, through the Eco Church survey. Its work is similar to that of CAFOD’s Live Simply initiative.
