Today we celebrate the solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. Devotion to the Sacred Heart represents a devotion to Jesus in his human nature, in particular referring to the heart as the seat of the emotions.
Fr. Matthew Bemand-Qureshi, Director of Marriage and Family Life, has live streamed an Act of Consecration to the Sacred Heart for families on the Marriage and Family Facebook page (which is linked below).
To join in, please gather round an image (picture or statue) of the Sacred Heart if you have one, or a crucifix or other image of Our Lord. The prayers used are also posted on the Facebook page.
