On Wednesday 25 February Brentwood Cathedral will welcome Kacper Dworniczak for a lunchtime guitar recital at 1pm.  Kacper graduated with distinction from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz Austria in 2025. The previous year he released his debut solo album called Journeys.

Kacper is a guitarist who proves that music is not just about notes, but about stories, emotions, and human connection. His playing combines breathtaking precision with disarming sensitivity. Each phrase carries both discipline and vulnerability, creating performances that audiences describe as both technically dazzling and deeply human.

Kacper’s programme is as follows –

Oscar Hammerstein/ Richard Rodgers      My Favourite Things
Fryderyk Chopin         Prelude op.28 no.4
Harold Arlen                Over the Rainbow arr. Toru Takemitsu
Toru Takemitsu           Equinox
John Mayer                  Gravity
Pat Metheney               Medley
Carlo Domeniconi       Toccata in Blue

Refreshments will be available in the Song School afterwards.
