Webinars on Premises Related Issues
A series of webinars is being run in 2026/27 on premises related issues; one each half-term.
This webinar will explain:
This course provides school leaders, governors, and site staff with a clear and practical understanding of their statutory responsibilities for managing the school estate, with a particular focus on asbestos as a key risk area. It explains the legal framework, roles and accountabilities, and the systems required to manage compliance effectively, including asbestos registers, management plans, and contractor controls . The course then broadens to cover wider statutory and regulatory duties across health and safety, fire, COSHH and building compliance, and demonstrates how these can be coordinated and monitored in practice using the GEMS framework and Compliance Tracker . By the end, participants will understand not just what is required, but how to implement robust, auditable systems that provide assurance to leadership and governors.
