Webinars on Premises Related Issues
A series of webinars is being run in 2026/27 on premises related issues; one each half-term.
This course, led by Matt Fulford of Inspired Efficiency, provides a practical introduction to improving energy efficiency in school buildings and planning a realistic pathway towards net zero carbon. It explains typical patterns of energy use in schools and highlights a range of cost-effective “quick wins”, alongside longer-term measures such as LED lighting, insulation, and on-site generation . The course also introduces key decarbonisation technologies, including heat pumps and solar PV, and sets out how schools can develop a proportionate, costed decarbonisation plan aligned with future funding opportunities. By the end, participants will understand how to reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and take structured steps towards a more sustainable, low-carbon estate.
Facilitator : David Gatheral, Diocesan Buildings Development Officer
