On Thursday 12 March at 7 pm Fr Adrian Graffy will be giving a talk at Gidea Park on the Book of Genesis, a book which in different ways figures prominently during Lent.
The talk is one of a series on the Scriptures for Readers offered by Fr Adrian, a Scripture scholar and member of the Pontifical Biblical Commission.
He says: “Many of our Readers are keen to grow in familiarity with the Scriptures. The Book of Genesis raises questions about creation, the origins of humanity and of sin, and also introduces us to the beginnings of the people of God. What sense do these Scriptures have for us today? This introduction is offered not only to Readers, but to all who wish to grow in understanding of the word of God.”
