Do you have questions about climate change and the proper Catholic response to this ethical issue? Do you want to reflect on practical ways that you as an individual and a parish community can live in ways that better care for our common home?
Come to the “Be Inspired” event at Brentwood Cathedral parish hall on Thursday 10th October at 7.30 pm. The event is being organised by a group within the parish called the Green Guardians, and aims to stimulate the conversation about our Christian duty to address environmental issues and live more sustainably. Maidi Brown, one of the organisers, says: “The purpose of the ‘Be Inspired’ evening is to act as a launch event by acknowledging that we do not have any ready-made answers to offer but need to come together as a community to explore the issues and gain a better understanding of the different ways of responding to the enormous challenges ahead.”
Fr Martin Boland, Dean of the Cathedral, says: “This is an opportunity to think more deeply about these issues. Four expert speakers will reflect on one of the most important ethical issues of our age. All are welcome.”

Taking a lead in Care for Our Common Home and working with young people through the Climate Champion scheme.
Cllr Chris Hossack, Leader of Brentwood Borough Council
