Says Fr Dominic Howarth: “Applications for the BCYS Summer Lourdes Pilgrimage CLOSE at midnight on Friday 10 January. The pilgrimage is a wonderful way to experience Lourdes in the company of other young people, serving the ill and elderly, and with tremendous experiences of prayer, reflection and social time. The cost is £600, with bursary funds available. To apply go online to www.bcys.net, create a free account, then register for Summer Lourdes. Places will be allocated on 15 January.”
He adds: “We have kept applications open from 27 October until 10 January to give the widest possible chance for everyone who wants to go to be able to apply, and we have not yet allocated any places. Usually there are young people from about 45-50 of the 87 parishes but it would be lovely if every parish were represented.”
