The body of Bishop Thomas McMahon, Bishop Emeritus of Brentwood Diocese, will be received into the church of Our Lady and St Joseph, Mill Road, Stock, CM4 9LJ on Sunday 14 December at 4 pm when Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Alan Williams for the parish congregation.
The body will be received into the Cathedral Church of St Mary & St Helen, 28 Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM15 8AT on Monday 15 December where Vespers will be sung at 5 pm.
The Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 16 December in the Cathedral at 11.30 am. Cardinal Nichols will preside. Bishop Thomas will be buried in the Cathedral cemetery.
