Funeral of Bishop Thomas to be livestreamed

Man in vestmentsThe body of Bishop Thomas McMahon, Bishop Emeritus of Brentwood Diocese, will be received into the church of Our Lady and St Joseph, Mill Road, Stock, CM4 9LJ on Sunday 14 December at 4 pm. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Alan Williams for the parish congregation for the repose of the soul and thanksgiving for the life of Bishop Thomas McMahon. The body will be received into the Cathedral Church of St Mary & St Helen, 28 Ingrave Road, Brentwood, CM15 8AT on Monday 15 December where Vespers will be sung at 5 pm.

The Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 16 December in the Cathedral at 11.30 am. Cardinal Nichols will preside. To cope with the numbers expected at the funeral, parishes are being allocated four tickets each to allow representatives to attend.
