Parish Administration Conference
What is the Conference?
Every year, the Diocesan Finance Office holds a conference in March to discuss matters and updates in finance and Gift Aid across the diocese. Please scroll down to download the various sections of the Conference booklet available under the resources tab.
When is it?
This year’s conference has been postponed due to bad weather. Watch this space for the new date.
Where is it?
We will hold the conference in the Brentwood Ursuline School, Brentwood, CM14 4EX. We will start with Mass at 09:15am, and the Conference itself will open at 10:20am.
Who is it for?
Over the last few years, we have broadened the agenda to include Parish administration and Property matters. As a result, we invite Parish Priests, Gift Aid Organisers, Administrators, Secretaries, and Finance Officers/Treasurers.
Why come along?
The conference is a combination of speakers, break-out sessions (according to topic), and a plenary question and answer session – as well as lunch!
Apart from hearing the updates, it is an opportunity to network with counterparts from other parishes – all attendees have badges which are colour-coded according to deanery, so that you can recognise someone from a neighbouring parish.
