Anscombe research exposes Australia’s slippery slope on euthanasia

Westminster has chosen to focus on the Australian experience of assisted dying, although it has a shorter history of this than many other countries. Despite this, Professor Jones of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre, says the evidence “shows just how quickly safeguards have been eroded or abandoned in Australia. Rather than an example of the law working well it is an example of what happens when you prioritise access over safety.”
