The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (also called the Journey in Faith) has developed strongly in the diocese. The aim of the Network is to support and encourage parishes in implementing the vision of Christian Initiation.

The Network offers on-going reflection and formation to parish RCIA teams through diocesan study days and short courses over a number of evenings, and is available to parishes for consultation and advice wherever the need may arise.

The work is facilitated by a core group: Fr John Glynn, Mrs Pamela Fitch, Sister Nuala Gannon IBVM, Mrs Eileen Smith, Mrs Davnet Barker and Mrs Ellaine Crome.
