On 22 November celebrated biblical scholar and translator Fr Nicholas King SJ will be considering how the document on the Bible of the Second Vatican Council – entitled Dei Verbum – continues to help us to read, study and pray the Scriptures. It is 60 years since the document was produced.
The talks, arranged by the Catholic Biblical Association, will take place at Christ the High Priest Catholic Church, Gidea Park, Romford RM2 6DH, from 11 am until 2pm on Saturday 22 November 2025. Entrance is free. Coffee available 10.30. Please bring a packed lunch. Venue is five-minutes’ walk from Gidea Park station (Elizabeth Line). Parking available and local eateries.
