Eric Chan from the Royal College of Music will be giving a lunchtime Piano Recital on Wednesday 6 July at 1pm – 1.45pm.  In the past, Eric has given organ recitals at Brentwood but this will be his first on the piano.

Eric was born in Hong Kong, and was taught the piano and violin from the age of four.  He graduated from the RCM where he obtained an Artist Diploma, Master of Performance with distinction and Bachelor of Music with first class honours.

His programme is as follows:-

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart – Sonata in D, K.576

Sergei Rachmaninov – Études-tableaux, Op, 39 no.2

Johann Sebastian Bach – Prélude and Fugue in C#, BWV 872

Enrique Granados – The Maiden and the Nightingale from “Goyescas”

Ernö Dohnányi – Rhapsody in C, Op.11, no.3
