Our Lady of the Rosary and St Patrick’s and Christ the King, on behalf of Waltham Forest Deanery, are hosting the screening of The Letter, a new documentary about how spiritual values unite us in the face of the planetary emergency. The Letter tells the story of a journey to Rome of frontline leaders to discuss the encyclical letter Laudato Si’ with Pope Francis. The film is a revealing insight into the personal history of Pope Francis and stories never seen since he became the Bishop of Rome.

It takes place on  Saturday 4 March – doors open at 2 pm for refreshments and will finish at 5 pm.  After we watch the film, we’ll discuss what we can do to join the movement of people who are building a better future.  All welcome.

The venue: Christ the King Church Hall, 455 Chingford Road, E4 8SP – transport: from Walthamstow Central station: 97, 215, 357; from Blackhorse Road station and St James Street station 158, W11.
