Bishop Alan has made pastoral visits to a number of parishes recently to carry out Confirmation Masses and visit schools and communities. They include Grays, Collier Row, Barking and Brentwood. At the Corpus Christi parish in Collier Row 23 young people were confirmed in the faith, and another 12 made the commitment at the Barking parish of St Mary and St Ethelburga with St Erconwald (pictured below).
And at Pentecost on Sunday 15th May Bishop Alan confirmed 18 at the Cathedral Church of St Mary and St Helen (below).
