September 1st – October 4th is when the Christian family unites worldwide in prayer and action to care for our common home. We each share a common call to care for creation, and this year’s theme is “Living Water”, inspired by the vision the prophet Ezekiel had thousands of years ago.

We are pleased to share a collection of resources we have prepared for flexible use in your parish, school, or organisation.

  • Reflections for each day of the Season of Creation: PowerPoint, PDF and images for social media stories.
  • Novena to St Francis of Assisi: PowerPoint and PDF, which can be given as a handout or displayed.
  • Collective Worship for Catholic secondary schools on the Season of Creation.
  • Intercessions: PDF for use in liturgy.
  • Lectio Divina: PDF handout (please note this is more suitable for 16+).
  • Changing habits day by day: PDF poster (please note this is more suitable for 16+).
  • Laudato Si’ Goals: PDF poster.

You can download all of these by clicking the links below.

If you have stories from your parish, school, or personally about anything you have done to help wildlife, save energy, or be proactive during this season, we would love to hear from you. If you are able to share an image or images with bullet points explaining what has been done, they can be shared on the Caritas and Diocesan websites and social media. It may inspire others!
