This course will take place over four sessions each term and is intended to support new and recently appointed Subject Leaders in developing the confidence, skills and knowledge to lead their subject within a Catholic Primary School.
4 sessions will run from November 2022 to June 2023; each session taking place between 3:00pm – 5:00pm on a Thursday. The training will be face-to face at Cathedral House, Brentwood. The scheduled dates are as follows: 17th November 2022; 19th January 2023; 16th March 2023; 22nd June 2023.
This training will be beneficial to all new or recently appointed Subject Leaders. Experienced Subject Leaders are also invited to sign up for sessions where they feel they may benefit from the training being offered.
Session 1 will cover: Introduction and Leadership and Management of Religious Education
The presenters will be Catherine Harwood, Brentwood Diocesan Primary Link Adviser and Bernadette Horton, Brentwood Diocesan Consultant Primary Link Adviser.
