Priest pedals through the pandemic to raise funds for charity

Putting in effortFr Dominic Howarth, a priest of the Diocese, has been static cycling for many months to raise money for charity and is heading towards 5,000km – and he now has just 500km to go. He says: “I was 50 last September, and decided to do something during the pandemic. Hence the tagline is ‘5000at50’.”

He is raising money for the Brentwood Catholic Children’s Society, Walsingham House, HCPT Easter Lourdes Group 709, and Help Refugees. He says: “Over £5,500 has been donated so far and it would be great to reach £7,500.”
