Catholic charities across the country have received emergency grants to support front-line action in tackling poverty through food banks, food vouchers and crisis schemes targeting those most in need.
Members of the Bishops' Conference of England & Wales with responsibility for International Affairs and Racial Justice have expressed solidarity with those challenging racism in the US after the killing of George Floyd.
