Engaged Encounter are part of the Worldwide Marriage Encounter organisation. They run a marriage preparation weekend for all couples looking to get married, especially in the Catholic Church. They provide time for the couple together, away from all the distractions of the wedding preparations. The weekend is divided into a number of short sessions, beginning with a presentation by one of the lead couples and the priest, in which they talk about their own experiences of marriage. There is time for the preparing couples to reflect privately on what they have heard and to ask any questions they might have about marriage.
